ZOE Heath says she won't give up the environment where she trains in the quest to be a discus champion.
The teenager lives on her family's 10 hectare property at Bringelly. To Zoe, it's ```home sweet home''.
``I wouldn't swap living and being able to train here with anywhere,'' Zoe, 15, said.
The tranquil rural lifestyle agrees with the promising discus and shot put thrower.
``I love it, I have got plenty of room to do extra training throwing the discus and shot putt and I also have a home gymnasium inside one of the big sheds here.''
At the NSW All Schools' titles the year 9 John Edmondson High School student won the under 15s discus event. She threw a personal best, 39.52 metres.
The stunning performance qualified the 180cm tall athlete for the National All Schools' titles to be held in Hobart on December 4-7.
Zoe will step up to the under 16s for the nationals.
``This will be my first nationals,'' Zoe said.
She credited coach Nikolai Sawaszenko for his tuition over the past year.
``He has helped me throw longer distances,'' she said.
Zoe is also a member of Western Blues Little Athletics which holds meetings through the summer season at Craik Park, Austral, on Friday nights.
