Liverpool's young people are almost spoilt for choice with events for Youth Week 2009. Here are just a couple of things to get involved in.

If you know how to move, be part of the South-West Youth Peer Education’s third Super 7 dance competition on Friday at 6.30pm. Seven dance groups will compete on the dancefloor for prizes at West Leagues Club (Jacaranda Room), 10 Old Leumeah Road, Leumeah. Entry: $7. Details: Charlie, 0408 292 366. Bookings: 9607 0468.

YOUNG people’s achievements and contributions to the community will be celebrated with a trip to Jamberoo Recreation Theme Park this Saturday, April 4. This has been organised by YouthLinx Sibling Support Programs in conjunction with the Junction Works and Westside Youth Centre. Young people will have the opportunity to take photographs of each other at the youth centre and at Jamberoo and link the photographs to themes from this year’s Youth Week. Details: Jennifer, Junction Works, 9606 9628.
