Police are appealing for information to help locate an injured man after reports of a stabbing and robbery in Liverpool on Monday night.
About 6.25pm, Liverpool police responded to a triple zero (000) call from a woman who had spoken with a man near Liverpool railway station.
He told her that he had been stabbed and his mobile phone had been stolen while he was travelling on a train between Casula and Liverpool.
The man was last seen entering a licensed premises near the railway station suffering a leg wound.
Despite an extensive search of the area and inquiries with local hospitals and medical centres, the man was unable to be found.
To date, the victim has not reported the matter to police.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have been travelling between Casula and Liverpool about 6pm on Monday.
