Idol siren on tour soon

RICKI Lee Coulter (pictured), an Australian Idol favourite, is bringing her new tour to south west Sydney and tickets for her March 30 Club Marconi show are on sale now.

``I'm beyond thrilled to be kicking off 2008 with the release of a single and the launch of a tour in the same month,'' Coulter said.

``We've spent a lot of time planning this tour, so the shows are going to be fantastic.''

Coulter's first single from the new album Brand New Day, is Can't Sing a Different Song.

The album, composed by Coulter during a stay in London, has captured the attention of United Kingdom and European households in the past six months.

Fans at the Club Marconi show will see Coulter perform the new single as a well as her other hit singles including Hell No!, Sunshine, Breathe, Can't Touch It and Love is All Around.

``I wanted to do something a little different so there's some definite surprises along the way and an Idol moment or two for my fans who have been watching me from the start,'' she said.

After the concert, the audience will have a chance to meet Coulter for an autograph.

Coulter, an Australian Idol success story, has performed at numerous prestigious awards events including the ARIAs, the Logies, the MTV Awards and the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
