Death-defying feats a thrill

17 Jun, 2009 04:00 AM
MOST kids cannot tell their parents they want to run away with the circus but for Hewinson Lyezkosky it was easy. His parents were already part of one.

Lyezkosky, originally from South America, is with Webers Circus in Australia.

The acrobat performer will be doing his death-defying acts at Liverpool Catholic Club tomorrow night when the circus rolls into town.

Mr Lyezkosky jumps high on the dangerous wheel of death and pedals fast with his mini-bike on the high wire. He takes a rest and sits steady on a chair while he is still up there and when he comes back down to earth he gets into a caged ball.

A caged ball with a motorcycle inside chasing him.

And that is the life of a circus performer.

The circus will be at Liverpool Catholic Club for the next three weekends starting tomorrow.

Tickets are $12 for children, $20 for adults.
