Sales plays bass and is joined by Chad on guitar and vocals, Ajay on lead guitar and Adam on drums.

Before joining the group a year ago, Sales was a guitarist.

``I've played guitar since I was 11 years old but the band needed a bass player so I tried it out and I loved it,'' he said. ``Everyone has come from other bands and we're all very experienced already.''

Vocalist Chad writes all the band's original songs.

The band has played at a few clubs and pubs but this is their first competition together.

Stoked to make it through to the final, the band is determined to bring it.

``It's just awesome,'' Sales said. ``We love what we do. It gives you an adrenalin rush when you're performing on stage.

``It's something addictive. You get a good feeling when people are cheering and clapping and you want to keep pleasing the crowd and showing off your music.''

After the competition, the band hope to record some more music and get some more gigs.
